Beautifully eerie, impending on doom and dissonance... yet somehow comforting.

ABOUT

“When the missiles whistle, even the jellyfish flee,” wrote one of the Israeli newspapers during the Israel-Lebanon 2006 war. During the summer of 2006, the jellyfish, whose presence is a common annoyance for the beach goers in Israel, decided to miraculously skip the Haifa environs on their usual raid through the Mediterranean. The quiet boycott, coupled with the feelings of uncertainty and frustration, inspired this work.
